Program The Pancake Breakfast is a one-day celebration of the Hyde Park community and fundraiser for the Neighborhood Club. The Club provides all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 AM to 2 PM. The event also includes a Marketplace, featuring local vendors, businesses and civic organizations, and a Children's Carnival. This year, the Hyde Park Historical Society is also brining folk musician Lee Murdock.
Audience Approximately 800 residents of Hyde Park and the surrounding communities come out to enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast and the opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors. Many are associated with the Club and its many programs. The event also attracts individuals who support the mission of the Club and enjoy the opportunity to experience a snapshot moment with the Hyde Park and mid-south community. City, county, state and federal elected officials and administrators come out to flip pancakes and meet constituents.
Community Impact The Club is hosting the 45th Annual Pancake Breakfast. The event is an important institution within the Hyde Park community. The Club provides a unique opportunity for our diverse neighborhood to come together in one place at one time.
